Veraison - The Finest in French Cuisine

What is Veraison you may ask? It is "the stage of the berry, when midway through it's development, it changes from hard to soft and it's color goes from green to it's harvesting color." Just like this special stage of berry when it really comes to life and is ready to harvest, this is the very unique and colorful orchestration of every dish that comes to life in this outstanding French restaurant.

Short rib, foie gras, lamb sirloin, steak tartare, diver scallops, soft shell crab and much more take on an entirely gorgeous orchestration at Veraison. Be ready to be impressed by the Calistoga fine eatery from Owner and General Manager, Dan Kaiser. Raised in Sonoma County, Executive Chef, James Richmond is at the helm of the Veraison menu and draws inspiration from everyplace from his travels to his own grandmother. If you have never had the chance to try French cuisine, you will be delighted at the interpretations of Chef Richmond.

The extensive wine list includes selections from Champagne, Alsace, Burgundy, Rhone Valley and Provence, Bordeaux, Loire Valley, Languedoc, Savoy and elsewhere. You will also find a good selection of draft and bottled beer.
